- Use the Add link in the Tasks Column to add a Task to a Worklist.
- Claims Management Dashboard
- Claims > Encounter by Status link (not the Report)
- Add a single Patient to a Worklist.
- Add an Encounter to a Worklist from the list of Encounters.

Option to Distribute Tasks when Exporting to a Worklist
When exporting Tasks, you can choose Distribute in the Assignees dropdown.
- This would distribute the Tasks to all Users assigned to the Worklist based on their percentage of how many Tasks the Users are currently assigned.
- For Distribute to be available in the Assignee dropdown, All cannot be used.
- Specific Users must be assigned to the Worklist.

Task Queue and Import Next Set
When a Tag is configured on a Worklist, any charge that has that Tag attached but does not yet have a task created for it is part of the Task Queue.
- The current count is displayed on the Worklist page as: "# Encounter Tags are currently in the Task Queue".
- Charges are excluded if they meet any Auto-Close Rules configured on the Worklist.
Import Next Set
Import Next Set pulls Charges from the queue and creates Tasks for them.
- The number of tasks created is controlled by two settings (configured per Tag on the Worklist):
- Task Limit: The target number of open Tasks for this Tag/Worklist combination.
- The import calculates how many tasks to create by subtracting the current number of open tasks from the Task Limit.
- For example, with a Task Limit of 100 and 40 currently open tasks, clicking the button creates 60 tasks.
- Task Priority: Determines which charges are pulled from the queue first based on the Worklist field Task Priority.
- Oldest DOS: Charges with the oldest date of service are imported first
- Largest Balance: Charges with the highest balance are imported first
- Oldest DOS, Largest Balance: Charges are sorted first by oldest date of service, then by largest balance
