Patient Note Alert Enhancements

Notes

Notes and Alerts have been greatly enhanced. Category has replaced Type and Classification. New features include: Snooze-able Alerts, Effective/Expiration dates, attach to multiple Encounters, Hide-able System Notes, Archive (new User permission), and additional filters for searching across Patients.

PDF Form Mapping

Forms and Superbills
Forms can now be mapped in the PM. If you are using POPS, these Forms can be signed in POPS.

Linked Libraries for Parent/Child Databases

Database and Administration

Parent Databases can now link their Libraries to a Child Database to ensure that the same records are present in both Databases.

Charge Management Actions v2

Administration

More Actions have been added to Charge Management. This will simplify the process of adding, modifying, or replacing information on a Claim and/or Encounter.

Manage Appointments En Masse

Calendar/Scheduling and Notifications

On the Calendar Tab: Manage, you can use the Manage Appointment button to update Appointment Statuses in bulk and send Notifications to all affected Patients.

User Access by Facility

User Maintenance

Patient Access Permissions panel has been added to User Maintenance to allow User access to Patients by Facility.

Two-Factor Authentication Requirements

User Maintenance

To best ensure the safety of your data, Two-Factor Authentication is now required for all Users. This will become enforced when a user resets their password.

Transaction Codes: Text and Background Color

Background and Text Color options have been added to the Transaction Codes Library to help identify specific Transactions more easily.

Add Guarantor: Copy Email and Cell Phone for Child Relationship

If the Patient's Relationship to the Guarantor is Child, the Copy from Patient checkbox will now copy the following fields: Address, Phone Numbers, and Email address.

Payment Plan Rules

Rules button has been added to the Payment Plan screen to auto-calculate the maximum number of Payments allowed.

Pre-Payment Checkbox Added to Receipts

A checkbox has been added to the Patient Payment Receipts screen, allowing users to treat unapplied amounts as Pre-Payments and remove them from the statement balance calculation. Additionally, an expected Date of Service (DOS) can be specified.

Provider Level Adjustment Option for Apply ERA Jobs

Post/Do Not Post Provider Level Adjustment option has been added to the Job Scheduler when Applying ERAs.

Charges / System Setting

A new system setting, Admin > System Settings > Charges > LINKMULTIPLEAPPOINTMENTS, enables the Link Appointment popup to display when editing a Charge, even if an Appointment is already associated.

Send Immediate Appointment Reminders

Immediate Appointment Reminders can be sent from the Patient Appointments panel on the Patient Dashboard from the Patient Appointment screen.

  • While updating Appointment Statuses en masse from Manage Appointments.

Appointment Scheduled Confirmation

A new Delivery Timing option (When Scheduled) was added to allow a Reminder to be sent as soon as an Appointment is scheduled to support Booking Confirmation workflows.
