The Set Action button can be used to perform specific Actions on multiple Encounters in one step.
Use the checkboxes on the Encounter lines to select (if the Select function was not used)
After you have selected all the boxes that you want to include in this Action, click the Set Action button.
Choose one of these options for Set Action:
Recalculate Balances: If the list is old, it can be refreshed on a per encounter basis.
Assign to User
Reset Statement Counter to 0: This resets the Dunning Message Count. Use this action to reset all checked Encounters.
Reset Statement Counter to 1
Reset Statement Counter to 2
Reset Statement Counter to 3
Delete: Delete an Encounter from this list.
Send to Collections: Send the selected Encounters to Collections
Delete Completed Records
Update Statement Profile
Choose your Collection Agency
Your Collection Agency must be set up in the Insurance Library before starting the Set Action function. Learn more: Add a Collections Agency.
Select Run.
The result of Setting an Action appears in the Action column.
Once the Action has been set can be Applied.
Select the Apply Action button.
The Apply Action screen shows how many encounters with No Action and how many Actions will be applied.
Select Run.
The result of Setting an Action appears in the Action column. It is denoted with a plus symbol (+). The next time you Make a new List, these will not be included.
