Remove an Encounter from Collections

There are two ways to Remove an Encounter from Collections.

Option 1

  1. From the Encounter Dashboard, select the Remove from Collections button.
  2. Select Collection Agency in the pop-up.
  3. Select Save [F2].

The Encounter may still be in Pre-Collection status. To remove from Pre-Collections
  1. Select the Dunning/Statement Count button on the Encounter Dashboard.
  2. Set the Dunning Count back.
  3. Enter a Note.
  4. Select the checkbox for Remove Encounter from Pre-Collections.
  5. Select Save[F2].


Option 2

  1. From the Patient Dashboard, choose the Select Action dropdown list and select Send to/Remove From Collections.
  2. Select the checkbox for all the Encounters to remove from Collections.
  3. Select Apply.
  4. Choose Remove Encounters with Collection Balance from Collections.
  5. Add a Note.
  6. Select Save [F2].
