- Select the Items number to review the items in a Reference Batch.
- The green highlight of the Chain Link indicates that you are linked to that Reference Batch.
- A Reference Batch can be Open, but not linked.
- Select the Batch number to make changes to the Reference Batch.
- A Closed Reference Batch no longer has the Chain Link.

Reference Batch Details Screen
Select the Items number to see the Reference Details.
- Select the Items number to open the Batch Details screen for Charges.
- Select the plus symbol to expand each Encounter for more details.
- Select the Encounter number to navigate to the Encounter Dashboard.

- Payments and Receipts: On the Batch Details screen, view and modify Receipts by selecting the Receipt number.

- If the Month End Close is performed, the Reference Batches in that period of time will have a lock on them. The items can be viewed but not changed and cannot be re-opened.

Reference Batch Breakdown
The Batch Breakdown is available on the Batch Details screen and displays information about Patient, Insurance, and Receipts in the selected Reference Batch.
- The Reference Batch Breakdown is only available when the Reference Batch Details is set to Receipts.

Batch Breakdown
- Requested, Not Processed: The amount of all electronic Payments that failed to process.
- Receipts: The total amount of all Receipts in the Reference Batch.
- Disbursed Receipts:
- Payments: The total Payment amount from the Receipts in the Batch.
- Payments Applied Outside of this Batch: The total Payment amount from Payments that were posted outside of the Batch for Receipts within the Batch.
- Escrow: Remaining money on the Receipts in the Batch that has not yet been Posted or Disbursed.
- Payments from Receipts Outside of this Batch: The total Payment amount from Payments that were posted within this Batch for Receipts outside of this Batch.

Patient, Insurance, and Invoice Receipts
- Shows the total amount of Patient, Insurance, and/or Invoice Receipts broken down by method (Check, Cash, Card, and Refunds).
- Note: The System Setting INVOICE must be set to Yes for the Invoice column to show.
