Block Time on the Calendar

You may want to Block Time on-the-fly for a specific afternoon or for holidays to hold your schedule.

  1. The Block can be added to one or multiple Resources at once.
    1. Example: Add a Holiday for multiple Resources.

Block Time

  1. Select the start time for the Block.

  1. Select the Block Time link on the Add Appointment screen.

  1. Resources: Select one or multiple Resources.
  2. Choose additional Facilities, if applicable.
  3. Date and Start Time default from what you have chosen on the Calendar, but can be changed.
  4. Add a Description.
  5. Select the Block Type from the dropdown.
  6. Set the Duration. The duration can be entered as minutes or hours and minutes. For example: 450 minutes or 7h30
  7. Add a Reason and/or Note, (optional).
  8. Select Recurring, if applicable.
  9. Select Save [F2].


Existing Appointments

  1. If there are existing Appointments:
  • To send the existing Appointments to the Reschedule Queue, select the Add to the Reschedule Queue checkbox.
  • Leave the box unchecked to keep the Appointments on the Calendar.
  1. Select Save and Continue.
