Rejection: Invalid Payer Resp Seq Num Code

Reason for rejection  

This Payer does not accept Secondary Claims.

Resolution:

Libraries > Insurances

  1. Select the Insurance ID for the Payer.

  1. Click Edit.

  1. From the Secondary Form Type dropdown list, select HCFA.

  2. Enter the Payer's Address if not already completed.

  3. Select Save [F2].

 

  • Change the Claim Status to Ready for Submission/Resubmission.

  • When the Claims are batched, this Claim will drop to paper.

  • Mail the Claim.
