Patient Documents Panel

The Patient Documents Panel shows all documents that have been uploaded or scanned (such as Insurance cards and driver's licenses).

  • Select the Patient Documents link to open a list of scanned on the Documents/Images screen.
  • Select the Modify Icon to change the Received date, Link to, or Note.
  • Select to Open link the scanned images.
  • Select the Printer Icon to print the scanned images.

  • The Add link opens the screen to upload an already scanned document.

  • The Scan link opens the Direct Scanning feature. *This is a premium add-on feature.


  • The View link displays the scanned images with the options to select Front or Back view and provides the ability to switch the images.
  • The Open link displays both front and back together.
  • The Print icon page where you can choose the Printer.

Scanned Document Information

  • Scanned Date and Time
  • Type of Document
  • Where the document was scanned in the System
  • View, Open, Print

Modify a Scanned Image

  • On the Patient Dashboard, select the Patient Documents link.

  • Select the Modify icon.
  • Received
  • Type
  • Link To
  • Note
  • Select Save [F2].

Archive a Patient Document (4.11 Only)

Home > Patient > Select Patient > Patient Dashboard

  1. Navigate to the Patient Documents panel at the bottom of the Patient Dashboard page.
  2. The rightmost column contains an Archive link in each box. Find the Document you'd like to archive and select the link.

  1. To view archived Documents, select the Include Archived Documents checkbox at the top of the Patient Documents panel.
  2. To Unarchive a document, select the Unarchive link in the Archive column of the Patient Documents panel.

Alert
Scanning a new insurance card with an existing policy number will trigger an alert that the old card will be archived.

Delete a Scanned Image

  • Select the Patient Documents link.
  • Highlight the line you want to delete.
  • Select the Delete button.
