Create a Job to run a Custom Query Report

Schedule a Custom Query Report 

The Custom Query Reports can be set to run on a schedule. The Custom Query Reports include:

  • Custom Encounter Query
  • Custom Receipt Query
  • Custom Transaction Query
  • Custom Patient Query
  • Custom Appointment Query

Custom Query Reports will show in the My Reports section at the top of the Reports Dashboard after being run by the Job Scheduler and will be automatically marked as Opened.


The Job is set up on the Report instead of in the Job Scheduler.


  1. On the Left Side Menu, select Reports.
  2. Select the Custom Query Report that you want to schedule.

Example: Custom Encounter Query


Create a Custom Query Report, or select an already created report.

  1. Run the Report to make sure it has the Criteria that you want.
  2. Select the Save icon .
  3. Select the Job Scheduler icon .



  1. Run Function: Defaults to the name of the Custom Query Report where the job was created.
  2. Criteria: Choose output format as CSV (spreadsheet) or PDF.
  3. For User: If applicable, choose the User that needs to use this report other than yourself. (Defaults to current User.)
  4. Upload Options: If applicable, select the checkbox for Upload to external site and choose the site from the dropdown.
  5. Pattern: Choose how often you want the job to run.
  6. Range:
  • Select a Start Date.
  • Select Time of Day you want the report to run.
  • Select No End Date, # of Occurrences, or select an End Date.
  1. Select Save [F2].
