If Hold Guarantor is selected on a Tag, all Encounters attached to the Guarantor will be held.
- If there are several Patients that are attached to the Guarantor, no Statements will be sent for ANY of the Encounters.
To find the Patients and Encounters that are affected by the Tag, run the Tagged Encounters Report.
- Select Tagged Encounters on the Claims Management Dashboard.
- Use the following Filter Criteria:
- Encounter - Tag List: Change to Select.
- This will force the Report to pull from every available Tag List.
- Add Guarantor - ID: Choose Equals and enter the Guarantor ID.
- If you do not know the Guarantor ID, add the Patient ID to the Filter Criteria and add a Column for Guarantor and change the Filter for Guarantor ID to Select before running the Report.
All Patients and Encounters attached to the Guarantor will be listed even if they do not have a Tag. This allows you to view all affected Encounters.
