Charge Management Overview
Charge Management Rules help catch common errors before Claims are sent to the Payer to reduce denials and rejections.
- Set and forget Charge Management Rules to reduce manual errors in Charge Entry and Claim Submission.
- Use a Validation Warning, Validation Error, or Batch Validation to warn you of errors as they happen.
- Charge Management Actions enable you to correct common errors automatically (4.8).

Confirm Consent for Medical Records | If an Insurance requires consent for medical records for a specific Procedure Code, set up a Charge Management Rule to give a Validation Warning reminding the User working the Charge to upload the consent as soon as the ICN number is received. |
Print Claim for Specific Procedures | If a Procedure needs to be a Print Claim, set up a Charge Management Rule to validate on the Procedure. |
