Max Concurrent Rules for Multiple Appointment Types in One Slot

Max Concurrent Rules for Multiple Appointment Types in One Slot

Maximum Concurrency can be specified for Appointment Types in a specific Slot Type.

Scheduling Rules define concurrency for a day or days for Resources, Facilities, and Appointment Types, but does not specify Max Concurrency for each Appointment Type in a Slot.
  1. Example:
    1. Dr. A can see any combination of 10 Established Patients, New Patients, and Follow Ups.
      1. Max Concurrency AM: 5 Patients
      2. Max Concurrency PM: 5 Patients
    2. The Build has a Slot Type for 9:00 AM and 1:00 PM that will allow New Patient appointments and Follow Up appointments with the Slot Type having 2 concurrencies.
      1. If left like this the User could put two New Patients or two Follow Up appointments or one of each in the Slot on the Calendar.
However, Dr. A only wants 1 New Patient and 1 Follow up Patient at 9:00 and 1:00; not 2 New or 2 Follow Ups.
