Change Healthcare ERA Enrollments Update
If you were receiving ERAs prior to 02/21/2024 for any payers affected by the Change Healthcare incident and have not received any ERAs for those payers since 02/21/2024, please create a new enrollment (Home Dashboard > Enrollments) for each of the affected payers. Please allow 4-8 weeks for an enrollment to be completed once the form has been uploaded. Click link for a tour of the Enrollment Dashboard.
Change Healthcare has announced that it is in the final stages of reviewing the data affected by the recent cyber attack that contained Protected Health Information (PHI). You can find the link to the update below.
As of the date of the notice, Change Healthcare has not yet identified the specific individuals whose PHI was impacted by the attack.
Therefore, there is no current action that customers need to take regarding making official breach notifications specific to the Change Healthcare security incident.
Once the review is complete, Change Healthcare will separately notify customers whose PHI was impacted by the breach.
Furthermore, Change Healthcare plans to send direct notices, via written letters, to all affected individuals identified through their investigation, provided they have sufficient address information for mailing.
In the event Change Healthcare provides an update on the status of its data review and investigation, we will promptly share this information.
