Add a Patient for Medicare Advance Payments and Recoupments

Create a Patient

Example: First Name = Advance; Last Name = Medicare Payment.
  1. Enter Last Name. (Example: Medicare Payment)

  2. Enter First Name. (Example: Advance)

  3. Enter "dummy" DOB.

  4. Choose a Gender.

  5. Enter a "dummy" Address.

  6. Text: Choose Opted Out.

 

  1. Add Primary Insurance.

    • Choose Medicare.

    • Enter a "dummy" policy number.

  1. Appointment Text Reminder: Choose Opt Out.


  1. Choose Hold Statement.

  2. Click Save or F2.
