Encounter Validations Panel

Encounter Validations Panel

The Validations Panel displays warnings, errors, and missing information on the Encounter.

  • If the error or warning is due to a User created Charge Management Rule, the Rule number link can be used to edit the Rule (Permission controlled).
  • If the Validation is an Error, the Claim cannot be processed until the Error is resolved.
  • If the Validation is a Warning, the Claim can be processed but may be denied by the Payer for Incomplete or Invalid Information.
  • System Rules will not have a link since they cannot be edited.

If Tags have been assigned to the Encounter, they will display in the Tags Assigned column.
