Use Authorization without an Authorization Number

Use Authorization without an Authorization Number

  1. On the Case screen, leave the Authorization Number blank.
  2. Create a Note to alert the user during Encounter Entry that no Authorization is needed.
  3. After adding the Note to the blank Authorization, click Save
  4. When the Validation Warning displays, click Save & Continue.

The note shows on the Add/Modify Charge screen when the blank authorization is chosen.

Add a Charge Management rule to get a Validation Warning when saving the charge.
