TAGS Show & Tell

Welcome to Show and Tell, where you can share and learn ways users are utilizing certain features in the system. Our software is highly customizable, and our users come up with new and exciting ways to make their day-to-day workflows more efficient.

SHOW us all the fun and creative ways you are using a feature, and in the next quarter, we will TELL you what we've learned. We hope that you can implement some of these ideas into your workflows!

Tags Overview

The goal of Tags is to provide better visibility and flexibility when working Charges.

  • One of the greatest Tag features is that multiple can be attached to an Encounter.
  • The ability to add Attributes, such as Hold Claim or Hold Statement, provides an additional layer of usefulness.
  • Before the introduction of Tags, Custom Claim Statuses were used to organize Encounters, but the one-per-Encounter limit made them much less effective.
  • Tags are a great way to auto-populate Worklists to streamline workflows (see our next Show & Tell for more Worklist ideas).

Coming Up Next: Worklists

Use Worklists to control your important workflows by assigning Tasks with due dates and/or follow-up dates. Administrators control the information that is required when assigning Tasks.

SHOW us how you are using Worklists to improve your workflow, and we will TELL you what we have discovered in August 2024.
