Keyboard Shortcuts
The System is designed for navigation with a keyboard in combination with a mouse. The following table shows shortcuts to navigate the system using your keyboard.
Shortcuts Using Your Keyboard
Shortcut | Description |

| Reference Batch | 'Ctrl+Home' to open the Reference Batch pop-up. When a specific Reference Batch is highlighted: 'c' to Close Reference Batch 'o' to Open Reference Batch 'a' to Attach/Detach to Reference Batch |
F2 | Save the current data entry screen |
| F3 | Return to the Home Dashboard |
F5 | Refresh the screen |
| F12 | Switch Databases |
Esc Key | Cancel data entry and return to the previous screen |
Alt + C | Clear filter criteria |
| Ctrl + Ctrl | Moves the cursor to the navigation box (Press Ctrl twice) |
Ctrl + Left-click | Opens pop-up window from the clicked link. *See below |
| Ctrl + fn + F7 | Open Insurance Management when on the Patient Dashboard (Hold Ctrl and Fn while clicking F7) |
Alt + letter | Any underlined letter |
Home Key | When the cursor is in a lookup field, the Home Key will launch the Lookup pop-up box. |
Depending on your operating system and system administration settings, Keyboard Shortcuts might not be functional.
Ctrl + Left-Click
Hold down the control key (Ctrl) and click a hyperlink or sidebar item to open a new tab in your browser while keeping the original screen open. When finished with the additional tab, you can close it, and you will return to your original tab.
