Map an ICD-9 Diagnosis Code to ICD-10 Diagnosis Code

When an ICD-9 Diagnosis Code comes from the Clinical Documentation, it will need to be mapped to an ICD-10 Diagnosis Code on the Billing side.

  • Diagnosis Mappings panel will be added to the Encounter Dashboard.
  • Select the Map link.
  • From the display select the ICD-10 Diagnosis Code to use instead of the ICD-9 Diagnosis Code.
