Insurance Profile

An Insurance Profile represents all responsible parties in the order they are used. Each Profile contains all the Insurances the patient has at that time.
  • Primary
  • Secondary
  • Tertiary

Self Pay Profile

The Self Pay Profile represents Patient Responsibility.

For adding a DME Insurance Profile, see Durable Medical Equipment (DME).

The Insurance Profile is Grayed Out on the Modify Charge screen

  1. A Payment may be posted on this Encounter, or
  2. The Charge is in a Closed Period.
Go to Insurance Management to make changes to the Insurance Profile for this Encounter.
