On the Payment Dashboard, select Receipt History. (Payments on Left Side Menu).
The letter, R, can also be entered in the Navigation Search Go-Box to navigate to Receipt History.
Use the Filter Criteria panel, to search for a Receipt.
Deleted Receipts can be found in Receipt History.
On the Payment Dashboard, select Receipt History.
In the Filter Criteria panel, select Only from the Deleted field dropdown list.
A Payment can be found in ERAs, manually entered Patient, Insurance, and Invoice Payments using the the check number.
For Patient, Insurance, and Invoice Payments that are entered manually, the check number must be entered in the Reference/Check Number field on the Receipt for search purposes.
Select Payments on the Left Side Menu.
Select the Receipt History link.
Filter Criteria: Enter all or part of the check number in the Reference field.
It is recommended to enter part of the check number.
Select the Search button.
All Receipts that have the number entered will display.
Example
12345 is entered in the Reference field.
The checks displayed will be any check number that has those sequential numbers/digits.
The method above can be used to pull Individual ERA Receipts or use the method below to pull the entire ERA instead of individual Receipts. Individual Receipts can be seen by selecting the ERA number.
Select Payments on the Left Side Menu.
Select the All ERAs link.
Filter Criteria: Enter part of the check number (last 4 or 5 digits is recommended) in the Check/Transaction Number field.
All ERAs that have that sequence of numbers will display.
The Custom Receipt Query can also be used to find Payments by Check Number.
Select Reports on the Left Side Menu.
Select Custom Receipt Query.
Select the Columns to display.
Select the Plus Icon beside And.
Select the Plus icon beside Receipt to expand the options.
Select the checkbox beside Reference Number.
Filter Criteria: For Receipt-Reference Number, select Contains from the dropdown.
Enter part of the check number.
Select the Run button.
All Receipts that have that sequence of digits will display.
