Old System (Legacy) Payments Mixed with New System Payments

If some of the ERA is adjudicated for a Legacy System and others are in the new PM System, choose to post the ERA by selecting Apply as usual.

Any Remits will be Disbursed that do not have the System format of Patient ID, the letter "E" and the Encounter ID, such as 27e14. The System produces a Receipt that has the letter 'O' in the Disbursed field, O=Old System. This Receipt is a holding place to indicate this money should be posted into the Legacy System and is not reported as part of the A/R in the new PM System. This field is editable.
