Edit the Policy Holder Information

 Edit the Policy Holder on an Existing Policy 

 

      1.  Select the Insurance Policy in the Active Policies panel on the Patient Dashboard.

  1. Update the Relationship if it is not Self or if the Insured has changed. For example, (01) - Spouse.

  2. In the Last Name field, start Typing the Last Name and select the Lookup icon to choose an existing Policy Holder.

    • If the insured is not found, enter the Last Name and First Name and Middle Initial if it is used on the Insurance Card.

  3. The Policy Holder's address information populates if found in the Database. If not, the Patient's Address can be used for the Policy Hold. (Use Patient Address) or a different Address can be entered.

  4. Click Save/Check Eligibility or Save (F2).

 

 Edit Policy Holder after Saving   

If the Policy Holder has already been saved as someone other than Self, choose one of the selections in the Insured Relationship panel.

  • Modify Policy Holder Demographic Information

  • New Policy Holder
