Modify an Appointment


The following fields can be modified on an existing Appointment:

  • Procedure
  • Duration
  • Case
  • Authorization
  • Referring
  • Referral Reason
  • Reason
  • Note


The Patient, Date, Time, and Resource cannot be modified on the Add Appointment screen.


Modify an Appointment

  1. Select the Patient's Appointment slot.

  1. Select Modify Appointment.
  2. Make the changes in the pop-up window.
  3. Select Save [F2].

Fields that cannot be Modified:

  • Date
  • Time
  • Resource
  • Person


Modify Recurring Appointments

  1. Select the Patient's Appointment on the Calendar.

  1. Select the Modify Appointment link.

  1. Make the changes to the Appointment, such as adding a Case or Note.
  2. Select Save & Continue.
  3. A Validation Warning will display.
  4. To update all future Recurring Appointments, leave the checkbox selected.
  • Uncheck the box to update the current Appointment only.

    


Modify the Recurrence Options

  1. On the Patient's Appointment screen, select the Recurrence Modify link.

  1. Make the necessary changes, such as Interval options, day of the week, # of Appointments, etc.
  2. Select Save [F2].
  3. Validation Warning: All future Appointments will be Rescheduled.
  4. Select Save & Continue.


Cancel or Delete all Future Recurring Appointments

  1. On the Patient's Appointment screen, select the Recurrence Cancel or Delete link.
  2. Enter the Reason for Cancellation.
  3. Select the checkbox for: I understand that this action cannot be undone.
  4. Select the Submit button.
  • All Future Recurring Appointments for this Patient will be canceled or deleted.

 

Patient Dashboard Accessibility

  1. Select the Patient's Appointment on the Calendar.

  1. On the Patient's Appointment screen, select the Modify Appointment link.

  1. On the Modify Appointment screen, use the Modify Icon on the upper right to navigate to the Patient Dashboard.
  2. Refresh the Modify the Appointment screen by selecting the Refresh Icon on the upper right.
  • This will update your screen to show the latest changes.


Mark an Individual Patient as a No Show

  • On the Patient's Appointment screen, select No Show from the Status dropdown.
  • Ideally, this should be done at the end of the day.
  • Exit the screen.
