This feature was designed to work with Visit Coding, allowing a scanned document to be assigned to a coder. When the coder has finished coding, a manager can assign the Batch to a biller to complete the charges.
This setting determines if the Reference Batch User can be assigned (and changed) on a Reference Batch.
Note that this setting only works if the BATCHMANAGEMENT setting (above) is set to YES.
Yes: Allow the User on a Reference Batch to be assigned (otherwise it defaults to the User creating the Batch).
No and (---): The User assigned to a Reference Batch is the User creating the Batch and cannot be changed.
If there is an eBridge index for Chart Numbers, enter it in this field. This will be used to auto-populate the Chart Number in Ebridge where applicable.
Note: The Chart Number field is optional in Registration. To add: Go to: Admin > System Settings > Patient > CHARTNO > Select: Use Chart #
Enter the Index number used in eBridge to identify the Client.
This Index is commonly used with Billing Companies who have multiple clients.
Use this setting if the Database is specific to a Client/Provider.
Enter the Value that is specific to the Database.
This restricts documents that are visible based on the Client Value when the User is opening a document.
Assign the date format that represents how dates are entered in eBridge (e.g. Date of Service). This will allow the system DOS to match up with a DOS entered in eBridge.
If DOS is entered in eBridge as:
Year/month/day, this setting should be: YYYYMMDD
Month/day/year, this setting should be: MMDDYYYY
If documents are indexed by Date of Service in eBridge, enter that Index Number for DOS here.

This will be used to auto-populate Encounter IDs in eBridge where applicable.

Enter the Index used in eBridge for the Encounter PDF page number.
If you are entering Charges from a document in eBridge, enter the page number of the scanned eBridge document when entering the Charge.
This will allow the system to connect the Charge/Encounter with the exact page number of the scanned document.
If documents are indexed in eBridge by Facility ID, enter the Index Number for Facility here.
Note: The Facility IDs in the system must match the Facility IDs in eBridge for filtering by Facility to work. If there is an eBridge index for Patient IDs, enter it in this field. This will be used to auto-populate Patient IDs in Ebridge where applicable.
If there is an eBridge index for Receipt IDs, enter it in this field. This will be used to auto-populate Receipt IDs in Ebridge where applicable.
Enter the Index used in eBridge for the receipt PDF page number. This can be used when entering payments off of a scanned document in eBridge. When entering the Receipt in the system, you can enter the page number for the payment in eBridge which will then link the Receipt in the system to the exact page of the scanned document associated with the Receipt.
Note that a Custom Field needs to be created on the Receipt to enter the Page#. To add a custom field: Admin > Custom Fields
