Case Dashboard

Case Dashboard

The Case Dashboard is the overall view of a Case and the Authorization attached to it.


  1. Select the Modify link to edit the Case information.
  2. Notes Panel:
  • Select the Notes link to Add a new Note, Delete or Modify an existing Note.
  • Select the Add link to add a new Note.
  • Select the Note Date to Modify the Case Note and add or modify the Followup Date.
  1. Contacts Panel
  • Select the Add link to enter a new Contact.
  • Select the Modify icon to edit an existing Contact.

  1. Authorizations: Select the Add link to add an Authorization.
  2. Authorization Number: If an Authorization already exists, select the link to edit an existing Authorization
  3. Encounters: Select the Encounters link to isolate the Claims and Appointments that are associated with the Authorization in the Case Claims and Case Appointments sections.
  4. Details: This column displays the following:
  • Primary/Secondary/Tertiary Authorization Number
  • Effective Date: Date that this Authorization starts.
  • Expiration Date: Displays the date the Authorization will expire if one has been entered.
  • Days Left: Number of days left before the Authorization will expire.
  • This only displays if an Expiration Date has been entered.
  • Procedure Codes that are attached to the Authorization.
  • Visits Authorized: Number of Encounters that can use this Authorization.
  • Used Authorizations: Number of Encounters that are already attached to this Authorization.
  • Future Authorizations: Number of Appointments where this Authorization has been attached but not yet attached to an Encounter.
  • Remaining Authorizations: Number of Authorizations left to use.
  • Authorized - Used - Future = Remaining

  1. Case Claims: List of Encounters attached to the Case.
  • Select the Encounter number to navigate to the Encounter Dashboard.
  1. Case Appointments: Appointments that are attached to the Case.
  • Select the Appointment Date to navigate to the Appointment on the Calendar.
