Appointment Reminder Voice Templates

  1. Scheduling > Patient Outreach

  1. Select the Appointment Reminders or Recalls tab.
  2. Select Message Templates.

  1. Select Add.
  • To edit an existing template, select the Modify icon.

  1. Enter a description.
  2. In the Type dropdown, select Text, Email, or Voice.
  3. Select the Active checkbox.


Voice Reminders

Voice Confirmation and Cancellation is only available for Appointment Reminders, not Recalls.

  1. Copy: If a Voice template has already been created, select the template from the Copy dropdown (optional).

  1. Text Editor: Use the Mappable Fields to build your message.

  1. Select the Language and Voice.
  2. Complete the Voice Options.
  • Confirm Appointment:
  • Note: Recalls do not support Voice Confirmation.
  • Repeat Message: Allows the Patient to listen to the message again.
  • Forward Call to Office: Allows the Patient to contact the office.
  • Cancel Appointment: Changes the Appointment Status from Scheduled to Canceled.
  • Note: Recalls do not support Voice Cancellation.
  1. Enter a phone number to test the message (optional).
  2. Select Save [F2].
