Reorder link on the Diagnosis Codes Fields on the Add/Modify Charge Screen
Diagnosis Codes can be reordered or deleted in the Diagnosis panel on the Add/Modify Charge screen.
- Display of the link is driven by a System Setting.
- This setting controls the availability of the Diagnosis Reorder/Delete feature when there are multiple procedure lines and the Diagnosis links on the procedure lines are not all the same.
- System Settings > Charges > REORDERDIAGNOSISOVERRIDE > ALLOW DIAGNOIS POINTERS TO BE RE-ORDERD WHEN THE DIAGNOSIS LINKS ON THE PROCEDURE LINES ARE DIFFERENT
- No and (---): Only show the Reorder/Delete link if the pointers on all procedure lines are the same
- Yes: Always display the Reorder/Delete link.
Features of the Reorder/Delete Link
- This makes it easier to reorder the Diagnosis Codes in the order of medical necessity quickly.
- This link becomes Save and Cancel when the Reorder/Delete link is selected.
- A drag and drop icon is located on each Diagnosis Code field in order to move it.
- A Trash icon is added to delete a Diagnosis Code easily, and the deleted (blank) field is moved to the end.
- Selecting the Update Pointers checkbox will automatically update the Diagnosis linkages on the Procedure lines when Save is selected.
- You cannot modify the actual Diagnosis Codes until the Reorder pop-up is Saved.
