Add an Authorization Number without a Case

Typically, this is for a limited or one-time use where there is no count down of visits.

Add an Authorization for Limited or One-Time Use

  1. On the Post or Modify Charge screen, choose Add Manually from the Authorization Dropdown in the Patient panel.

  2. Add an Authorization Number

  3. Click Submit.

InfoExample:  An Authorization for a surgery that you will use only once and does not need a Case.



InfoAdd New is only used for adding an Authorization to an existing Case.



 Add an Authorization Without a Case on the Add/Modify Appointment Screen 

  1. On the Add/Modify Appointment screen, select -ADD MANUALLY- from the Authorization dropdown

  2. In the pop-up, enter the Authorization Number.

  3. Select Submit.
